CASE 2: RADIAL NERVE INJURY

A 79-year-old woman referred to our center for a radial nerve injury of the left upper limb due to a fracture of the humerus 12 months earlier. The patient presents absolute impossibility to raise the hand and fingers.

Photo 1: A “falling hand” can be seen with the impossibility of extending the hand and fingers.

Next photos: After studying the case, tendinous transfers of healthy tendons are made to get the patient return the function of the hand.

Video: In the video we show the completely recovery of  the extension of the hand and fingers with a null aesthetic impact.
